These new flights will start in October.

In total, the airline will fly long-haul flights to 15 different international destinations across the Pacific this winter. Excluding mainland China flying, United’s transpacific network will be 50% larger than all other U.S. airlines combined.

This expansion builds on the continued growth of United’s international network. Earlier this year, the airline made the largest South Pacific network expansion in aviation history – adding 40% more flights between the U.S. and Australia/New Zealand. And this summer United is flying its largest-ever schedule across the Atlantic, 32% larger than the airline’s 2019 schedule and 10% larger than the next largest U.S. carrier.

“United offers more flights to more destinations across the Pacific than all other U.S. airlines combined,” said Patrick Quayle, senior vice president of global network planning and alliances. “United is the flag carrier of the U.S. and we are excited to bring this new service to Manila while expanding access to Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo.”

Beginning October 29, United will fly between San Francisco and Manila. The airline is already the only U.S. carrier to serve Manila from Guam and Palau, and will soon be the only to offer non-stop service to the Philippines from the continental U.S. Additionally, starting October 28, United will launch new service between Los Angeles and Hong Kong, building on its existing services from San Francisco.

In Tokyo, United will resume non-stop flights between Los Angeles and Tokyo/Narita, adding to its existing service between Los Angeles and Tokyo-Haneda. The airline will also increase flying to Taipei with a second daily year-round service from San Francisco, providing customers new time options to fly between the two cities.

Tickets are now available for sale on United.com and the United app.

    San Francisco – Manila, Philippines*

Starting October 29, United will be the only U.S. airline with non-stop transpacific flights to the Philippines, with the launch of its service between San Francisco and Manila. Adding to the carrier’s existing service to Manila from Guam and Palau, the new flight will operate daily on a Boeing 777-300ER, the airline’s largest airplane.

    Los Angeles – Hong Kong*

United is the only U.S. airline to fly non-stop to Hong Kong, and starting October 28, the carrier will increase its service with a new, direct daily flight from Los Angeles. The flight will operate daily on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. In total this winter, United will have three daily flights to Hong Kong from Los Angeles and San Francisco.

    Los Angeles – Tokyo/Narita

On October 28, United will resume daily, direct service between Los Angeles and Tokyo/Narita on a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. With its existing service between Los Angeles and Tokyo/Haneda, United will now connect Los Angeles to both of Tokyo’s international airports.

    Increased Flying to Taipei*

In addition to adding new routes to its schedule, United will also increase its flying to Taipei, beginning October 29. United is already the only U.S. airline to fly non-stop from the U.S. to Taipei with its daily service from San Francisco and will now serve the destination twice daily. The new flight will operate on a Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

    Australia & New Zealand Expansion

Earlier this year, United announced the largest South Pacific network expansion ever to and from the continental U.S. This upcoming northern winter, United will operate 66 flights between the U.S. and Australia/New Zealand every week. Highlights include:

    • Becoming the only airline to offer non-stop service to Christchurch, New Zealand with new service from San Francisco*
    • Building on its position as the largest U.S. airline to Auckland by adding four weekly flights from Los Angeles*
    • Serving as the largest carrier between the U.S. and Brisbane with a new route from Los Angeles*
    • Offering daily flights between San Francisco and Brisbane and Melbourne and twice daily flights between San Francisco and Sydney

Emirates Introduces Onboard Meal Preordering Service https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/emirates-introduces-onboard-meal-preordering-service/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/emirates-introduces-onboard-meal-preordering-service/#respond Thu, 20 Jul 2023 03:10:31 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=85816 Emirates is taking the first steps in an innovative initiative of meal preordering, whereby customers will be able to preselect their hot main meal between 14 days and 24 hours in advance of their flight, ensuring they get their preferred meal choice every time, as well as helping to reduce food wastage.

The initiative will be rolled out from 25 July onwards in Business Class, on all flights between Dubai and London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and London Stansted, adding even more benefits to the Emirates customer experience, improving time management and adding another layer of insight into meal consumption onboard. Meal preordering will be added to the existing suite of AI-enabled customer preference tracking data and cabin crew reports, which facilitate menu planning and optimal food loading to deliver the premium ‘restaurant in the sky’ inflight dining experience.

Up to 14 days before a flight, passengers will be able to browse the onboard menu on Emirates.com or on the Emirates app and choose from a selection of regionally inspired dishes with locally sourced ingredients. Passengers can also pre-order special meals if required.

On the aircraft, cabin crew will use a custom-built application on a device to view the meal selection and serve the passenger their choice of hot dish. Emirates plans to expand the meal preorder initiative to more routes and classes in the near future and is closely monitoring customer feedback from the initial roll out phase.

The preordering meal service innovation is another addition to the convenience of digitally enabled journeys that Emirates passengers enjoy. As well as website check-in and app check-in, the option of digital boarding passes and itinerary management, passengers can also access digital menus in advance, join Emirates Skywards to immediately access free connectivity based on tier membership and class of travel, and spend time curating a playlist of favourite movies, TV shows and music available on ice, which they can synchronise from their app to their TV screen the moment they board. Emirates passengers are also invited to review all aspects of their flight in a quick digital survey that appears on the inflight entertainment screen, providing feedback and insights that ensure customers fly better with Emirates.

Essential Documents and Templates for New Airbnb Hosts https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/essential-documents-and-templates-for-new-airbnb-hosts/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/essential-documents-and-templates-for-new-airbnb-hosts/#respond Wed, 19 Jul 2023 04:43:21 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=85909 Congratulations on embarking on your journey as an Airbnb host! Sharing your space with travelers can be a rewarding experience, but it also comes with responsibilities. To ensure a smooth and successful hosting experience, having the right documents and templates in place is crucial. In this blog post, we’ll discuss the vital documents and templates every new Airbnb host should have to provide their guests with a seamless and enjoyable stay.

    House Rules

A comprehensive set of Airbnb house rules is one of the most critical documents you need as a host. House rules outline the dos and don’ts for guests during their stay on your property. Setting clear expectations is essential to maintain a respectful and comfortable environment for guests and neighbors. Your house rules can cover various aspects, including:

    • Smoking and pet policies: Clearly state whether smoking is allowed and whether guests can bring their pets.
    • Quiet hours: Set specific quiet hours to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone.
    • Occupancy limits: Clearly define the maximum number of guests allowed to avoid any potential issues.
    • Amenities usage: Outline any specific guidelines for using amenities like pools, hot tubs, or other facilities.
    • Neighborly conduct: Emphasize the importance of respecting neighbors and the community.
    • Cleaning guidelines: Include instructions on how guests should maintain the property during their stay.

Make sure to communicate these rules to guests before their arrival and display them prominently in your rental for easy reference.

    Check-In Instructions

Streamlining the check-in process is crucial for a positive guest experience. Provide detailed check-in instructions to guests before arrival, especially if you have a self-check-in system. Include the following in your check-in instructions:

    • Directions to your property: Provide clear and accurate directions to help guests find your place easily.
    • Key retrieval process: If you have a keyless entry system, explain how guests can access the property.
    • Parking instructions: If parking is available, let guests know where they can park and any relevant rules.
    • Contact information: Share your contact details or that of your co-host in case guests need assistance during check-in.

By providing comprehensive check-in instructions, you can avoid confusion and ensure guests feel welcomed from the moment they arrive.

    Check-Out Instructions

Just as important as check-in instructions are check-out instructions. Clear guidelines for checking out help guests leave your property in good condition and streamline your cleaning operations for the next guests. Include the following in your check-out instructions:

    • Check-out time: Clearly state the time to avoid delays or overlaps with incoming guests.
    • Cleaning expectations: Encourage guests to tidy up the space and follow specific guidelines, such as emptying the trash or starting the dishwasher.
    • Key return process: If applicable, specify how guests should return the keys.

A smooth check-out process can leave a positive lasting impression on guests and increase the likelihood of positive reviews and repeat bookings.

    Cleaning Checklist

Maintaining a clean and well-kept property is essential for any Airbnb host. Create a detailed cleaning checklist for your cleaning staff or yourself if you handle the cleaning. The checklist should cover all areas of the property, including:

    • Bedrooms: Changing bed linens, vacuuming, and dusting.
    • Bathrooms: Cleaning toilets, sinks, showers, and replenishing toiletries.
    • Kitchen: Cleaning countertops, appliances, and dishes.
    • Common areas: Vacuuming or mopping floors, dusting furniture, and tidying up.

Having a cleaning checklist ensures consistency and quality in the cleaning process, leaving your property spotless for every guest.

    Regular Maintenance Protocol

Implement a regular maintenance protocol to keep your property in top-notch condition and always guest-ready. This includes scheduling routine inspections and maintenance tasks such as:

    • Checking for plumbing issues, leaks, or drips.
    • Testing smoke detectors and replacing batteries regularly.
    • Inspecting appliances and electrical systems for any signs of malfunction.
    • Evaluating the condition of furniture, fixtures, and amenities.

By staying on top of regular maintenance, you can address any potential problems before they escalate and provide a safe and comfortable environment for your guests.

    Conclusion

As a new Airbnb host, having the right documents and templates is vital for providing your guests with a seamless and delightful experience. The Airbnb house rules set the tone for guest behavior, while check-in and check-out instructions streamline the process for both you and your guests. The cleaning checklist ensures consistent cleanliness, and a regular maintenance protocol keeps your property in shape. Emirates Builds Unrivalled Network with Partners to Reach Over 800 Cities, Opening The World for Travellers https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/emirates-builds-unrivalled-network-with-partners-to-reach-over-800-cities-opening-the-world-for-travellers/ https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/emirates-builds-unrivalled-network-with-partners-to-reach-over-800-cities-opening-the-world-for-travellers/#respond Mon, 17 Jul 2023 08:45:39 +0000 https://www.globalbrandsmagazine.com/?p=85726 On an average week, over 50,000 travellers connect to their destination of choice on codeshare or interline flights operated by Emirates’ many partners. The airline’s numerous partnerships developed over the years have helped fuel its growth, enabled frictionless connectivity for customers, bolstered loyalty reciprocity and tapped into unique markets that have generated new traffic flows.

While Emirates’ business strategy has always been to grow organically, its strategic partnerships like interline agreements and codeshares help to expand its global footprint, enabling the airline’s customers to reach places far beyond its own network. Emirates will continue evolve its partnership strategy by broadening many of its interline partnerships to full-fledged codeshare agreements, and strengthening its existing codeshares to build on its already industry-leading network position.

Since it signed its first interline agreement, Emirates’ global partner network has grown exponentially across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.

Today, the airline has 29 codeshare, 117 interline and 11 intermodal rail partners across the transport ecosystem in over 100 countries, delivering an array of travel choices through flexible schedules for travellers, and providing seamless connectivity, relevance and a network reach that extends to over 5,250 additional sectors covering over 800 cities. For example, in the Americas this means reaching cities beyond major airports, like Corpus Christi through United and Halifax with Air Canada. In Asia, travellers have strong connection opportunities to leisure points like Koi Samui in Thailand and Luang Prabang in Laos with partner Bangkok Airways. In Africa, South African Airways and Kenya Airways connect Emirates customers to an array of underserved points like Vilanculos, Kilanmanjaro, Juba, and Maputo. For customers of those airlines flying on Emirates, connecting to the carrier’s network of over 140 destinations through Dubai is easily within reach.

Customers can book connecting flights with the airline’s partners and enjoy the benefits of seamless single ticket itineraries, baggage transfers, frequent flyer benefits, lounge access, alongside other perks to ensure a smooth travel experience.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer said: “We have a long-standing history of partnerships that have reshaped the way people travel around the world. It’s a reflection of our commitment to providing our customers greater flexibility and confidence when planning their travel itineraries through leveraging the strength of our partners’ complementary route networks. It’s also helped to enhance Dubai’s connectivity to the world, providing direct and indirect links to over 800 cities, generating more tourism to our hub and boosting business and trade opportunities. These partnerships have also supported inbound tourism to over 100 countries through opening up connection opportunities and smoother journeys via the exclusively served points of our partners.  As we enter the next phase of growth for Emirates, codeshare and interline partnerships will be a critical component of our future success and a core part of our commercial strategy, and we’re working hard to develop them even further to offer a huge choice of onwards destinations for our customers.”

Last year, Emirates signed codeshare and interline agreements with 11 airlines. Besides the  cornerstone codeshare agreements with United Airlines and Air Canada, which expanded the airline’s connectivity to over 570 points in the Americas, Emirates also signed up with Airlink, Aegean Airlines, Air Tanzania, ITA Airways, Bamboo Airways, Batik Air, Philippine Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, and SKY Express, further expanding network choices it offers to customers. The airline also recently announced an interline agreement with Kenya Airways.

This year, Emirates is set to enter into new partnerships and deepen the level of cooperation on existing ones with airlines across East, South and Central Asia, Africa and Europe. The airline’s loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards and its freight division, Emirates SkyCargo also work closely with codeshare and interline partners to coordinate holistic partnerships that complement network and loyalty programme frameworks, boosting benefits for customers flying with both carriers and helping them reach new markets more efficiently. On the operational side, Emirates Airport Services play a pivotal role in helping make connectivity work seamlessly and enabling reciprocal lounge access for customers.

    Travellers

Across the airline’s network, strategic partnerships with over 140 airlines have boosted connectivity options for customers through expanding city pairs on a single ticket, in addition to integrating benefits in the loyalty space:

The Americas: Emirates customers travelling to the US have access to more than 200 U.S. cities in the United network, via Chicago, Houston or San Francisco. Travellers can also access dozens of destinations across Canada, Mexico, Caribbean islands and Central and South America. Customers journeying to Emirates’ extensive network beyond Dubai have a myriad of choices to unique destinations across the Middle East, Africa, Central and South Asia. Emirates’ partnership with Air Canada allows customers of both carriers to enjoy seamless connectivity to 232 points spanning three continents, including to destinations across the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Indian subcontinent.

Europe: Customers can connect on Emirates’ five codeshare partners including Air Malta, Air Baltic, Aegean Airlines, TAP Portugal and Siberia Airlines, and its 35 interline partners to reach more than 313 cities across the continent, including popular holiday destinations across the Mediterranean.  The airline’s rail partners in Germany, Spain and France provide on-ground connectivity for travellers to explore Europe on train, and connect seamlessly with Emirates on a single ticket.

Asia: Emirates’ already extensive Asian network is further bolstered through the airline’s nine codeshare partners ranging from Japan Airlines, Korean Air and Garuda, among others, reaching over 150 popular cities across Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Japan and the Philippines, as well as other popular tourist and business hotspots.

Australia: Often called one of the most seismic partnerships in the industry, the Emirates and Qantas relationship is one that jointly provides access to over 60 Australian destinations that Emirates does not fly to, while Qantas customers are able to fly on Emirates to Dubai and access over 65 cities in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa beyond Qantas’s existing international network.  Frequent flyers of both Emirates Skywards and Qantas Frequent Flyer can earn and redeem points travelling with both carriers and enjoy access to each airline’s lounges at airports all over the world.  The airline’s Jetstar partnership (a subsidiary of Qantas) also enables travellers to reach cities in Asia – all on one ticket.

Africa: Emirates’ footprint across Africa has expanded over the years to drive better connectivity and value for customers with more flight options to smaller regional points across the continent. Through its codeshares with South African Airways, Airlink, Royal Air Maroc, Tunis Air, and interlines with a dozen other regional carriers, the airline has expanded its reach to close to 130 regional points in Africa.

Middle East: The airline’s keystone partnership with flydubai has not only bolstered traffic flows in and out of its Dubai hub, but has also delivered enhanced connectivity to more than 215 destinations across 98 countries, and over 250 codeshare flights to choose from on an average day. Emirates customers can access more than 80 unique flydubai destinations; and flydubai passengers can access more than 100 Emirates destinations. In the last two years alone, the partnership has enabled over 2 million customers to travel on the joint networks of both carriers. The innovative partnership provides seamless connectivity at Dubai International Airport (DXB) between Terminals 2 and 3, baggage transfers on a single itinerary, as well as reciprocal loyalty benefits under the joint loyalty programme, Emirates Skywards.
